The corrected recommendation
Put babies on their backs for every sleep on a firm, flat, level surface intended for infant sleep, covered only by a fitted sheet. Do not add a wedge, sleep positioner, pillow, rolled blanket, or anything under or over the mattress to create an incline.
This applies to infants with reflux too. Reflux, congestion, breathing concerns, feeding problems, or prematurity need individualized guidance from a pediatrician; an aftermarket wedge is not part of the sleep setup recommended here.
Why the page remains live
Removing an indexed URL would leave an old search result without a useful answer. Keeping this noncommercial correction at the same address makes the change explicit and directs readers to the source-backed safety guidance that now governs our product coverage.
